Situated in the Canadian Southern Gulf Islands, which lie between British Columbia's mainland and Vancouver Island, the natural beauty and Mediterranean climate of North and South Pender Islands attract people from around the world. Some stay a few days or weeks and others put down roots, becoming part of this unique community.

The Pender Islands Community Hall hosts an assortment of events: concerts, plays, art exhibitions, the Farmers Market and the annual Fall Fair. Set in at the edge of a unique pine forest next to farmlands the Community Hall fits beautifully into the Pender Island ambience: warm and welcoming.
