Get ready for a blast of fun-filled learning! Depending on age, Leaders in the YLP can dive into a variety of exciting activities, including assisting with running the Community Cafe,  petting farm assistant, helping run activities, arts & crafts or sports, childminding support, helping with day camps, assisting with events, mentoring younger volunteers, lending a helping hand at the Tech Café, and capturing unforgettable moments as event photographers. All while earning highschool graduation credit, acquing essential work skills, and making a meaningful impact in the community!

Summer Camps 2024 – 

July 2 – 5   Leaders in Training Camp (ages 13 – 18)     

Do you have a passion for making a difference? Do you thrive in roles where you can inspire and lead others? Then our Leaders-in-Training Camp is for you! Through hands-on activities, workshops, and team-building exercises, you’ll gain invaluable insights into creating unforgettable experiences for children. Whether you aspire to lead a summer camp, a school club, or a community initiative, our Leaders In Training Camp will equip you with the skills and confidence to turn your goals into reality. Join us and become the leader you were born to be!  9:30 – 4:30

July 5   Day Camp with the Leaders in Training

Give your little ones a day filled with creativity, learning, and fun at our Leaders-in-Training run Day Camp! Led by passionate youth role models, campers will embark on an adventure of hands-on activities all while experiencing the magic of leadership in action. 10:00 – 4:00

 

Hallside Explorers (ages 6 – 12) 

Experience the ultimate summer at our Day Camps! Each week brings a fresh journey packed with excitement: explore new destinations, dive into thrilling games, get creative with crafts, take part in amazing activities that leave you craving more and forge friendships. Get ready to embark on a summer of endless discoveries, excursions, and unforgettable memories! 

July 15 – 19        July 22 – 26         July 29 – August 2 

August 6 – 9 (4 days)         August 12 – 16

 

August 20 – 24        Fall Fair Leadership Camp (ages 10 – 18) 

At this camp you’ll have tons of fun while getting hands on experience on how to the Fall Fair happen! Help set up the fairgrounds, craft delightful decorations, play games, make delicious creations for you and your crew to eat, and plan fun activities for the Big Event! Join us for an unforgettable experience as our Leaders support you in learning the ropes and having fun all while building invaluable skills in teamwork, organization, and leadership.  10:00 – 4:00          $150 for 10 – 12 year olds,    $50 for 13 – 18 year olds.

 

August 26 – 29   Summer Sunset (ages 8 – 12) 

End the summer with this amazing camp where everyday is an adventure. Activities will include: kayaking, archery, disc golf, a trip to the Sidney aquarium (ferry & transit bus), and miscellaneous other camp activities and adventures.    10:00 – 4:00 (except for the off-island day)
